It was a known limitation of the M1 that it only supported one external display even if your Thunderbolt dock supported two displays.
The M1 simply couldn't push more pixels.
- rowanG077 5y agoThis is false. It has nothing to do with pushing pixels. Else it should be easily be able to handle 4 Full HD monitors instead of a single 4k monitor.
