I think private companies and corporate American might be the way to go about trying to alleviate climate change. We are already seeing some effects on automobiles too where major US companies are trying to move towards EVs. In the current political climate I doubt the US government would able to do much but corporate America can maybe move the needle.
- eckmLJE 5y agoOne reason car companies are moving to EVs is the coming regulatory pressure from governments on fossil fuels and car emissions. They aren't doing it out of the goodness of their hearts.
- jorblumesea 5y agoIt's just sad we've gotten to the point where we are unable to solve any problems using government means. If you talked to someone in the 60s and told them about the future, they'd be astounded.
