Ask HN: Is there a way to disable Meta refresh tag?

I am using Brave browser, but typically for all chromium-based browser it appears that there is no option to disable meta refresh tags. Are there any workarounds?

Have you tried looking for an extension for this?

Apparently there are no extensions at all. If I am not mistaken, Javascript can't disable Meta tags.

Hacking your browser directly, or using a proxy rewrite to remove the tag (problematic, but not impossible, for TLS/SSL sites) would likely be your best options. Few console-mode browsers respect meta-refresh IME. Feature.
