The emperor and Irulan only make a personal appearance at the end of the book, don't they? During events the movie presumably doesn't cover at all?

- ModernMech 5y agoI just thought exposition wise it might have been good. They talk about this Emperor a lot and he just never appears on screen.
- jon-wood 5y agoThey only make an appearance then, but throughout the book Irulan's commentary is interweaved between chapters. It feels like that could have been a useful path for a bit of exposition on the things that aren't explicitly covered in the plot.
