Taking a deep book and turning it into a single movie seems to not work. Enders game: I'm looking at you.
- wang_li 5y agoWell, this instance of Dune is two movies. Part two is due in October 2023.
- magikaram 5y agoTime to read the books before the next part.
- wernercd 5y agoI'll be going from WFH Covid to hybrid so I'll be spending time on the roads come January... Dune might have to be the first audiobook I start. The real question is Dune or the Prequels... I do like the expanded universe, personally.
- wernercd 5y agoOh snap! good to hear. I've only started looking forward to Dune 2021 since I really hadn't paid attention... I love the audio books - book books were just too dense when I tried to read them originally. The audio books are among my favorite (Dune, LotR, WoT, Potter, Enderverse, couple others). I've seen some good reviews and look forward to it more now knowing it's not just 2.5 hours lol
