"Everybody" is an increasingly large group of non-technologists with a social and political agenda. It used to be in tech circles most people believe the line should be drawn at illegal content, trolling and obscenities. We don't want more freedom, we want to protect the freedoms that we are entitled to. And no one should need to defend such an obvious position against those who want to turn the web into a glorified television.
