what about encrypting your data before backing it up to a cloud service?
- bni 5y agoSure, but I would categorize that as under option 2.
- gaius_baltar 5y agoThat's my approach: cloud is just a dumb storage for backups, these services should not have access to the plaintext data.

- koheripbal 5y agoThat's really just #2 because you are not really taking advantage of any of the cloud services besides storage - which is the cheapest and least innovative cloud service.
