I think a lot of complaints would come from students that did succeed, whether by having previous programming experience or having the drive to overcome Lambda's shortcomings. That's certainly the case for me - I landed a job after Lambda as a backend engineer, and I am/was extremely upset by Lambda's continuous deceptive language and degradation of their program
