I find it interesting that so many responses are trying to dismiss this. I chatted with several programmer friends of mine and they all answered the question wrong (what is the abs(-128) in int8) and then got defensive and tried to play it off. Be honest, it is not an obvious gotcha. Don't get defensive if you didn't realize the implications of abs(-128) = -128 @int8.
