Dangerous Laser Strikes Continue Rise in ’21
- WarOnPrivacy 5y agoNoting that the FAA's "strike" count bundles the number of times that a laser beam is seen - along with the number of times an aircraft is lazed. From what I recall from past reports, actual aircraft strikes are a minor percentage of FAA's reported strikes. Actual strikes are absolutely concerning and commonly as dangerous as advertised. However, the FAA's choice to count non-strikes as strikes seems intentionally misleading and short-sighted.
