I've wanted to try a Tesla for a while now with a view to purchase. There's nowhere near me to rent one (Turo isn't available in my state) and I'd gladly rent one from Hertz. This is a move that could do wonders for EV sales. Exposing people, without commitment, to EVs may just quench some lingering doubts re: charging, etc.

- caf 5y agoI don't know about the US, but in Australia at least Tesla will deliver it to your house if you live too far from a showroom.
- jnsie 5y agoMea culpa. I was definitely unclear. I'd like something more than the usual hour long test drive from the showroom. The questions I have regarding Tesla and EV require testing on longer trips, using the charging network, etc. Being able to rent a car for a few days for a longer trip will tell me all I need to know.
