- leephillips 5y agoInteresting bio-fluid dynamics. And a fascinating creature! I'd never heard of this thing with its symbiotic mating shrimp living inside of it. Incredible.
- _Microft 5y agoIf you follow the Nature link from this article, an online viewer with the paper opens (cannot be downloaded from there). The paper has visualizations of the basket and the flow patterns that arise from it (including Anaglyph 3D images?!). Too bad that the article itself did not include any of these images. Edit: If this does not point to the paper, go back to the article and find the link there. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-021-03658-1.epdf?sharing_token=aAPg91_0r39nqslFm8JxdtRgN0jAjWel9jnR3ZoTv0MHnjYmodntkPLJm8OrbxC1xrhX87z-TOck7_9y39IvGTY99hc5M70JTycHwYRhJ-bpgh76ebVtKfELpiAGjhsUyLt38ZQyDJdg0zELddfHLe-bjh8Y9GWaQoPDukRXPYGLZxlGbFa37zzgk0PmgsFfGJmxZzAyELODClxJ4CNLM0Xfoly4fxScbBJqFIj_p-g%3D&tracking_referrer=www.scientificamerican.com https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-021-03658-1.epdf?shar...
- leephillips 5y agoI don't see a viewer, just the title, references, a part of the abstract, and an offer to rent the paper for nine bucks. S.A. might not have had the rights to reproduce the figures. EDIT: When I click to accept Nature’s cookies, I get the viewer.
