I’m curious why OP posted this, and why a 40-year-old review and not the book itself. I read it when it came out, but don’t recall it being prescriptive, which surely would have limited its impact. Despite all the reading and passage of time, I’ve never been quite sure what to do with all this perspective. I’ve ended up a plush, Chobani-eating nihilist in a cool blue-green bubble. Time for my fiddle lesson.
