i wonder if this is simply testing how well it will sell or the accompanying marketing or if walmart actually does some kind of consumer product safety motivated canary style rollouts? pretty unlikely, but would be cool if they did.
- sokoloff 5y agoIt’s sales testing. I don’t think “we test our products for safety on unsuspecting canary consumers” would pitch better than “we sell anything that’s legal” even if the math would back up the former as being possibly better.
