The Guardian would make a much stronger case if they showed how the per-capita crime rate of people with a migrant background is no higher than for other Germans. Possibly income adjusted, or looking only at non-property-related crime. Sure they refuted Trump's claim, but we shouldn't use Trump as a guide for these discussions anyway.
That is if we buy into the blinkered view of looking at migration only via the economy and crime-rate.
