Looking to reacquaint myself with React. Should I skip over class components?
- evantahler 5y agoYeah. Most use cases just need hooks and functions now!
- adzm 5y agoDon't skip over class components. There is a ton of existing code and libraries that use it.
- meowtimemania 5y agoI’d say just don’t learn about class components until you run into them
- andrewingram 5y agoI’d say so, unless you have a particular reason to learn them. I haven’t written a class component in well over 2 years.
