That’s a whole lot of writing before you get to the “Can we trust Microsoft with open source?” question. As interesting as all the murky politics are, I didn’t need all of the long form prose to build to that question. In fact you could have just straight up led with the question. And then answered it even more simply. Any of Nope Probably Not Hell No Not Even would have worked. I’m not sure why this is such a drama or surprise to anyone.
