Obviously this article is a rant and farce. I also know some designers who argue this very honesty. For the latter case you know you’re in an irrational argument when someone passionately dislikes some subjective aesthetic, but shows no understanding the practice: > “Why do they exist? I guess because real shutters look so great that a lot of other people wanted to jump on the shutter band wagon but couldn’t afford real shutters.” It’s ok to ignore the argument.
