Not to suggest it means anything, but one parent (very privileged Gen-X, male, white) to another: I sincerely admire your perspective and confidence. I really am disappointed in how so few of our peers (regardless of gender or generation) have either in this context.
- klyrs 5y agoAs you're well aware, our job isn't to be loved. Our job is to set a good example, and not cave when the going gets tough. I certainly don't need to be loved by petulant non-parents.
