I’m based in NZ too, how do you go with time zones?
I’ve noticed many US companies hiring remote still specify employees to live within a range of time zones. And I haven’t seen those include NZ (+13, yes the edge of tomorrow)
In practice, I’ve found collaborating with US colleagues fine. There’s a 3-4 hour overlap (our morning, their end of day).
- crummy 5y agoSorry for the late reply. I'm lucky to work for a company that runs after school coding classes, so the whole company is around US afternoon/evening hours. As a result I work a little earlier than most kiwis but not much, and really like the schedule now.
