Actually the web debelopment is much more stable now than it was 7 years ago. Major frameworks and tools are the same. Web standards are much more stable now, and languages are quite established. I haven't touch React or Vue for 5 years, but my knowledge is still relevant. Server side technologies are very stable for 10+ years too.
