I think the problem is that there are really three people this behaviour would apply to: 1. Someone with a spectrum disorder. 2. Someone who enjoys dicking around with people. 3. Someone with a spectrum disorder who enjoys dicking around with people. I'm trying to figure out if the person is in group 1 or 3. If you encounter a few people in Group 3, it's then harder to see people in Group 2 in a good light.
