First issues are Integrity, Trust, 'Business Maturity' (i.e. can communicate reasonably, operationally competent) etc.. It's like a rocky marriage with divorces and re-marriages, you have to really trust and get along, even when visions are not aligned. If you don't have that it will be very difficult.
