I used Vemto for a new app recently and it was a pleasure. There are other schema designer tools that will output your models as Eloquent code, but none of them handle the inevitable "we added a new model and want to associate it with an existing model". Vemto does support that, and it is setup to work alongside your codebase when the time comes to add new stuff. You can use as little or as much of the code and UI generator stuff as you'd like.
