How is it alienating to point out a trend that's clearly happening? I feel like this is exactly the problem, where refusing to acknowledge the problem is the problem. "Please don't bring these issues up, it's a problem I don't want to deal with". Are we expected to just pretend like there's not this huge anti-science movement on the Right because your feelings might get hurt? Look at all the anti mask, anti vaccine rhetoric. This isn't ok. Plenty of problems on the Left too, and we should talk about those too.
