Does anyone Freebase?

I like the idea of Freebase but I find it a PITA to use it because the AJAX (if I'm not wrong) is non user-friendly and the site frequently returns errors. Is there anyone out there who regularly use Freebase and if so, what kind of information that you search for there that you do not use Google for?
