I don’t and I tell them I don’t want to talk about this stuff. I don’t see any value in my friends and family knowing I make more or less than they do. My friends work at Big Tech and are probably earning more (especially with stock), my family work outside of tech and definitely earn less. I don’t lie about it, though. My memory isn’t the best and it’s likely I’d forget the number I said previously.
