its like that scene from a Western movie where a bunch of black-dressed men ride towards a serene bucolic ranch and the family inside looks through the window with a sense of foreboding

- thr0wawayf00 5y agoI've been hoping for celebrities to give Mastodon a shot after all of the racist spam proliferating in Facebook/Insta, but I'll admit this isn't quite what I had in mind. Do you have any more information on their decision to use Mastodon?
- streamofdigits 5y agoI'd hazard to guess because its twitter-like and quite easy to get going (open source, already deployed in large numbers etc.)

The majority of servers will just block the Trump instance. And that's if they even enable federation. I suspect they won't.
