Tesla are not losing market share of total passenger vehicle sales. That's the only number that matters.
- skohan 5y agoIt's still an important sign in terms of where Tesla will end up in the overall market. Tesla is a tiny player in terms of overall sales, so a 50% YOY growth in marketshare is still possible. If they're also experiencing a 50% decrease in the share of new EV's sold, that's not a sign that they will dominate the EV market as their current valuation would suggest.
