Another poster claimed this targets a single company, Facebook, which is not the case, it would be universal.
Another user claimed this was "stupid" and no one could do business. Setting up a private data center or purchasing rack space at an existing data center locally is well within most businesses capabilities. As far as losing chains like Starbucks and Chick-fil-A I do not see that being a long term problem, how much data does a coffee or chicken place need to collect on its customers and? It would certainly boost localized technology companies in states which adopt this strategy.
