- FpUser 5y agoHe is just a regular do as I say hypocrite.
- MR4D 5y agoWhat’s that old saying - Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
- glial 5y agoWhen I see things like this, I first ask myself "can this apparent inconsistency be explained by an underlying desire for increased power?" Helps explain a lot of hypocracy.
- spaetzleesser 5y agoHis number one ideology is money. As long as that keeps flowing, all is good.
- dogman144 5y agonothing ever died of a contradiction.
- jolux 5y agoNot only that but he hasn’t pulled his investment in it, has he? Doesn’t really suggest belief that the political system is about to implode.
- missinfo 5y agoMaybe he has a reason we're missing. What's his argument? What's the steelman argument here?
- la6471 5y agoHe is anti immigrant and that’s why he is out of SV.
- solumos 5y agoMore of an "exploit" than an "assist"
- systemvoltage 5y agoHe answers this exact question in one of his interivews. Paraphrasing - he strongly believes in civil liberties and privacy, his view of Palantir is to prevent fraud (based on early Paypal fraud system), provide data analytics for human decision making in the intelligence agencies and help government monitor their own performance. If you think about this, Google and Apple has far more granular data about citizens than Palantir. Yet, we don't think twice about it.
- drcongo 5y agoThis is so wrong I don't know where to start. Palantir likely has all your health data since the day you were born, but we don't know for sure.
- systemvoltage 5y agoI find it ironic to call something wrong and then proceeding to make speculative statements.
- drcongo 5y agoThat was the actual point.
