- raymondmoay 5y agoFixed it! Thanks for the catch. In SG we tend to add "like" to our sentences even when they don't make sense...
- dairylee 5y agoI'm from England (North East) and we also tend to use "like" when it doesn't make total sense, but mostly in speech and not in writing. It's used as a bit of a filler word ("There were, like, a lot of people, like, just standing around") or as a way to soften the end of a sentence ("That show was really good like!").
