- h2odragon 5y agoIts interesting to see what hasn't increased in price: Here in "factory farm" country we still have chicken breast and pork loin at $1.99/lb as it has been for a decade and more. Beef is the last holdout against factory farms and enslaved suppliers, apparently. They're clearing the pastures out now, though. Expect the benevolent corporate Lords of Protein to have a firm grip on beef within a couple years. Doubt it'll ever be priced for the plebes again.
