Face Unlock has been an available feature on every Pixel for a while and is present in the latest Android 12 Beta, it's just not depth-sensing because it lacks the hardware that the Pixel 4 and iPhone use, just uses front-facing camera instead and warns you about using it.
- Grazester 5y agoWhere are you getting this from? I have a Pixel 5. It doesn't have face unlock. Only the 4 did!
- hbn 5y agoIt was actually originally announced/demoed on a Galaxy Nexus running ICS back in 2011! - distances 5y agoAll the weak biometrics are disabled in banking apps etc, so you'll still need the fingerprint (or just the PIN code).
