Yes, seems incredibly dangerous with a kid in the city. They cross streets slowly and it takes awhile to scoop them up and get to safety. Emergency vehicles fly through city intersections that have obstructed views due to stopped cars. It's very unlikely they could stop in time if a pedestrian/kid happens to be in the intersection. We have the technology for advanced dispatch system where high-speed could be authorized only in life & death situations and only for the closest responders.
