China-linked hacking group accessing calling records worldwide, CrowdStrike says
- WarOnPrivacy 5y agoAbout a decade back, CrowdStrike earned a reputation of being one of US Gov's (mostly LEO but some IC) CyberFUD mouthpieces - along with Mandiant, FireEye and Cylance. They often served to help US Gov amplify it's "Cyber PearlHarbor" narratives - while generally offering zero evidence. The legacy of those companies (now much consolidated) is they never, ever report on US Gov intrusions into (often friendly) foreign networks.
