Akamai netstorage was/is expensive, requires a contract and interacting with inept, overpaid and rather useless sales people and sales engineering that insist on coming to your office to yap about their awesomeness a-la IBM, and is a part of CDN which is also expensive and also requires a contract with more sales people and sales engineers that insist on coming to your offices to yap about their awesomeness. I cannot wait until someone finally puts Akamai out of its misery -- they stopped being an innovative company in 2000s.
