Does this use the default graphics drivers in Windows? I have an older installation of Win10 on my Qubes laptop, and I'm limited in the resolution I can set on the Windows desktop. I have 1440p display on the laptop, and the largest resolution is still a window that is much smaller than the screen. This is my biggest problem with the Windows VM, and I was hoping that your project might do something to address this.
- elliotkillick 5y agoI also faced this problem with the low selection of resolutions to choose for the Windows desktop with my ultrawide 3440x1440 screen. No worries, it was easily overcome with a simple modification to SeaBIOS, see here: https://groups.google.com/g/qubes-devel/c/aCCGpYysZTQ/m/4yMYxIgoBAAJ https://groups.google.com/g/qubes-devel/c/aCCGpYysZTQ/m/4yMY... I'm in the process of submitting a patch to SeaBIOS so it will no longer be necessary to patch this in yourself.
