This is surely a fun niche to build a startup around. Have this problem been addressed commercially before?

- foobarbecue 5y agoYeah actually I considered just using a commercial "fish finder" which is common on boats. Probably could have made that work, but generally their display units aren't waterproof enough to submerse, they want 12V power, and they're not a great size / form factor for a surfboard.
