You're linking to a document showing work performed by someone with a clear anti-vax agenda: https://i-do-not-consent.netlify.app https://i-do-not-consent.netlify.app Again, not saying she's wrong, but we should be transparent about her agenda and biases, so that people can take them into account when interpreting the data she generated. --- EDIT: And while we're at it, your account was registered 8 days ago, and in that time you've submitted twice on this topic: this post, and also a direct submission of Jessica Rose's slides. Any personal agenda or relationship you'd like to share?

  My agenda is, I don't like it when healthy young people develop debilitating heart problems, and I hope to avoid that as much as possible. Were you hoping for something more than that? And let's please stop with the account age shaming. There are reasons why people who want to keep posting to HN have to create new accounts sometimes, but it's against the rules to discuss it, so let's drop that and talk about the information in the document.

So you’re pro-vaccine (COVID and otherwise) but just concerned about the myocarditis signal seen with the mRNA vaccines? > And let's please stop with the account age shaming. There are reasons why people who want to keep posting to HN have to create new accounts sometimes, but it's against the rules to discuss it, so let's drop that and talk about the information in the document. There was no “shaming” - just an observation and a question... and I think it’s a reasonable question. There’re plenty of examples of social media sites being used to spread propaganda of many types in recent years; no reason HN should be immune. Being alert to such things is important, and honestly a new account with a lots of activity pursuing a possible agenda is an obvious red flag.

  Begging the question. It remains to be seen if the document I linked even is a piece of propaganda or disinformation. Being correct would be adequate defense against those accusations, wouldn't it?
