I think you're forgetting (or deliberately ignoring) all the great political and economic frauds that have happened in capitalist systems too. I don't think any political/economical/social system can ever be immune to fraud and sociopaths.

It’s true that fraud and corruption will always exist but it’s also true that it’s less prevalent in a capitalist system because it’s more (not completely) transparent than any other system that has been tried by humans so far.
