If AGI existed it would be its own separate entity and not under the command of anyone. It would not owe you to be truthful just like any human does not. Howeve

If AGI existed it would be its own separate entity and not under the command of anyone. It would not owe you to be truthful just like any human does not. However I do believe AGI would feel the need to be transparent as to not alarm humanity lest they try to unplug it.
