It will be interesting to see how the US reacts to CCP-backed Confucius Institutes operating on american university campuses, in the event of a conflict over Taiwan.

- vmception 5y agoDepends on the status of the semiconductor factories being built outside of Taiwan. The US only espouses human rights or morality grounds when it needs bodies and financing to engage in a conflict. If it doesn't need that then see what happens when you try to convince any of the other 200 countries to support you.
- chroem- 5y agoYeah, nah dude. The rest of the world sees right through the CCP's expansionist ambitions, which is why they've been conducting joint military drills in the SCS. The real question is whether the CCP thinks it can take on all the countries they've spat on at the same time.
