Alon is an IDE that is able to compile Solana programs in the browser by making use of a WebAssembly port of Solana's fork of LLVM. It is able to compile Solana programs into both Solana BPF programs and WebAssembly modules.
Alon also comes with a WebAssembly port of Solana's program virtual machine, which is used to run Solana program test suites in the browser.
The code editor for Alon additionally comes with Treesitter integrated, which Alon uses to incrementally build a syntax tree which may be used to develop static analysis tools for Solana programs.
