There is mindlessly doing "Agile" "by the book" in a time and place where it doesn't fit (ignoring the whole idea about people over process) ... and there is doing something completely different in a time and place where agile would be perfect - and claim that it is "agile". (And there's thankfully places like the team I work on now where other teamleads come to see how our team lead does it. I suspect part of it might be all the stuff she doesn't do ;-)
