A good start would be 4 day work weeks. I'm so sick and tired of my friends being too busy to hang out. 2 Days is just enough time to rest up, have a day of fun with the GF/Wife/Family and get some things done around the house. Instead of buying things which will materially improve their lives, people give their money to companies so that they can hire more people to work 5 days a week... instead of just building the life they want with that money. Our current work culture is bad for the economy, environment and social life, and is from an era before the finalization of heavy engineering and the start of automation.
