I'm diagnosed with severe combined type ADHD (top tier, best of both worlds) which could have something to do with this, but I can't say I have ever thought of this voice and action/driver as separate things. My natural, pre-treatment, and unmedicated sub-/semi-conscious behaviour is not at all like that of a typical person.
