Ask HN: Caddy vs. Nginx, Thoughts?
Not trying to start a flamewar. I love Nginx and just started tinkering with Caddy. Blew my mind since https is built-in.
I am considering using caddy in Production for a new project I am starting. Would love to hear Pros and Cons. For example, does Caddy have similar level of features like nginx.
- radlad 5y agoI wanted to use Caddy in my home environment and an issue I ran into with Caddy was a seeming inability to choose an upstream server based on the client's remote address. (i.e. the `geo` module.)
- desktopninja 5y agoTBH it'll boil down to what configuration schematic 'feels organic' to you. In terms of features, personally think they are on par.
