This makes sense for many reasons. Yet, it makes completely sense for the Democrats to highlight that the Republicans are the ones who are trying to prevent absolutely legitimate citizens from voting because they are an anti Democratic Party. Because between 2 groups, one which prefers more citizens voting and one which tries to win by preventing citizens from voting, it’s good that the group that encourages citizens to vote wins.
