Parity Pricing for SaaS: Beginner's Guide
- carride 5y agoI have experienced this while traveling in Argentina, though did not realize this was a common marketing strategy. I have seen this local pricing for Steam as well as the others mentioned in the post. For digital products, at least in Argentina, there is little concern that a foreign traveler will adversely take advantage of the local pricing since the sites do not allow payment with a foreign credit card.
- julesmaregiano 5y agoThanks for the feedback! The foreign traveler issue is #2 after proxy/vpn abuse. To protect against it is easy: You need to check if their credit card issuing country matches the Promo Code discount country.
